Image shows the fine architecture of the Jaffa Post Office building, combining Colonial and Oriental-style architecture. It was designed by the architect, Austen St. Barbe Harrison in Israel's British Mandate period, and has marble flooring. The "stamp on the stamp" reproduces the 1948 Israel 20m blue coin stamp (Sc#5).
The Plate Block (with printing date and sheet number) is in excellent condition - always stored smoke-free - and comes with Post Office Bulletin
