Intelligent Design Series Wedge Treatment
Our first step in the process is to mill (port) 6 holes in the back of the club muscle, raising the center of gravity. This moves the sweet spot to the center of the club, just where it should be, giving your ball a lower more penetrating flight with a piercing trajectory and adding more control.
Second, We check the groove depth and if needed we painstakingly mill the individual grooves in each wedge, then finish by milling the wedge face to achieve nearly 100 percent (Non conforming square groove specification) allowed by the U.S.G.A. This gives your ball more spin than any other wedge in golf.
Finally, we apply the finish, either our proprietary Black Chrome plating or our Black Oxide finish. We then complete the process by custom paint filling. When this process is complete, you now have a beautiful wedge that produces a slightly lower, more penetrating ball flight with a piercing trajectory and 15 to 20 percent more spin just like a Tour Pro!!!
