This cape /cocoon is designed and styled to pop your arms in and out of.  The convenient lower arm slits are there for you to, e.g. pop your hands out to hand things to people and tuck your arms completely underneath to keep your hands warm rather than keeping them out in the elements. 

This item doesn’t fit like a normal jacket or jumper. You will see from the photos that the armholes are low for this very reason.  There is one arm hole that has buttons to keep closed if necessary to keep warmth in. Please do not buy this if you’re expecting it to be something where you can lift your arms up with your arms through the armholes. This is not what it is designed for. It is merely a cocoon cape to wear over warm clothing.
