I’ve been holding back all sorts of wonderful treasures for the new year. There are many extraordinary pieces of fine and costume jewelry as well as some exceptional Asian and mid 20th century decorative art. I’ll be spreading these items out over the month of January so please be sure to check back often. Up for auction is a lovely antique Edwardian era silvered brass and open back, bezel set blue glass stone chain necklace. The necklace measures approx 56” long x 1/4” wide. There is significant wear to the silvering revealing the brass metal below and one of the glass stones is cracked (it does seem stable in the setting). The necklace still displays nicely as it is.
