History of … Bovet Fleurier SA…. is a Swiss brand of luxury watchmakers chartered 1 May 1822 in London, UK by Édouard Bovet.
It is most noted for its pocket watches manufactured for the Chinese market in
the 19th century. Today it produces high-end artistic watches (priced between
US$18,000 and $2.5 million) with a style that references its history. The
company is known for its high-quality dials (such as the Fleurier Miniature
Painting models), engraving and its seven-day tourbillon. The
original Bovet watches were also among the first to emphasize the beauty of
their movements with skeletonized views and highly decorative movements. Bovet
watches were also among the first to include a second hand while the
company has a tradition of employing women artisans, which is rare for

Rose Gold round case measuring to 39 mm. Fixed bezel. Automatic movement,
approximate power reserve of 72 hours. Displays a Ivory off-white enamel Perlmutt/Mother
of Pearl dial with polished rose gold applied Roman numeral hour markers and
polished rose gold serpentine shaped hands, minutes markers around
outer of the rim.. Sub dial small seconds at 6 o'clock position. Power Reserve
indicator located at the 3 o'clock position, Convertible case, five sapphire
cabochons: a sapphire cabochon set on each lug & a single

AMADEO Case... Wrist/ Pocket/ Pendent or Table....
The Amadeo Concept: An
ingenious system in which the watch case has been designed so that it
can easily convert to be used either as a wristwatch on a leather strap,
as a pocket-watch on a chain or as a desk-clock by use of a hinged
stand on the case back. The transformation is accomplished by 2 button
cleverly integrated in the sides of the bow & a 3rd button on the
case back. The transformation process is simple & does not require
any tools.
This watch comes with the
optional Rose gold plated silver necklace chain to convert it a Pocket
watch.--It is a fun trick to remove the straps and lower the caseback
"foot" to show people how the watch can be used like a little clock.
Though I suspect that these features are rarely used in any practical
sense. I have to admit that theability for the case to transform is
interesting and adds value to the watch. Having said that, I think
that most owners are going to spend 95% of their time or more wearing
the Amadeo Fleurier watch on their wrist...
