This is a very rare Kangxi mirror black glaze vase with a gilded decor showing flowers and a pair of birds. Very dense paste (see pictures) that identify this as an 18th century rather than Kangxi revival piece. Photos do not do this vase justice: mirror black glaze are very hard to photograph, so you need to add a bit of imagination to appreciate this piece. The vase has a double blue circle mark on bottom. Dimensions are 4,5" W and 10,5" H. Conditions is very good: expected wear to enamels and a small chip below the lip as pictured. No restorations.
