Shamrock's research and development team have found that it is not uncommon to reel this rig from the deep with a fish on 4 of the 5 hooks.

Predatory fish as well as Mackerel and Scad find this rig irresistable, When bottom fishing this rig on sandy ground, we have found that adding a small piece of mackerel (5mm x 70mm) can yield Cod, Whiting, Gurnard, Plaice, Dabs, Fluke, Flounder & Haddock.
