With the autographic feature on an old Kodak camera, it allowed the user to actually write on the film as they shot the pictures. They were very popular during WWI for the troops.

This stylus is the original shiny silvery, nickel plated steel stylus that comes with the old Kodak Autographic cameras. It is 2 1/4" long, so it would fit in the slots next to the lens in front, or fit in the back of the camera in those slots. There are no cameras in this auction though. This being the shorter stylus, it would be best suited for the Vest Pocket Camera or any small one.
This shorter length is particularly rare.
As you can see, it is in good condition, as shown in my pictures.
