REPTILE BELLY HEAT!

***PLEASE NOTE!! As of 2/5/2018 MINIMUM ORDER IS two (2) feet; It turns out I pretty much lose money on orders for a single foot
due to packaging issues and time spent on order. Orders for a single foot of heat tape will be cancelled UNLESS the $8.50 WIRING SERVICE is ALSO ORDERED.*** See below how to order the wiring service.

The VAST MAJORITY of captive REPTILES (Snakes/Lizards/Turtles & Tortoises/Crocodilians) need some
type of Belly/Back Heat or Basking Light (or BOTH) to survive AND DO WELL in the captive environment. As for
herp food, more and more Roach breeders are using under-tub heating to improve their production.

Cutting to this listing....

>>>>Please READ the WHOLE listing, then read it again. A large percentage of questions asked through the messaging system are already answered here in the listing. Often I answer the query almost verbatum to what's written here. If after reading it twice, if you still have question(s) then by all means, send me a message. Thank you...!

This listing is for HEAT "TAPE" 11 inch wide/23 watts per foot for making Heat Pads for Belly Under-cage heating. Or, for back-heating in rack systems. Or for Incubators. Or for Roach tubs. It's not really "tape", but resembles tape. Brand of product is THG-Heat. It is sold by the linear foot, in 1-foot increments. It is superior to "other brands" primarily associated with its LACK of "hot spots" cropping up in the older more "well known" brand, that I TOO sold for many years until recognition of the "hot spot" problem became apparent a few years ago. It's a quality-control issue. I ALSO STOCK 4"/6 watt per foot, but as of 01/19/17 we're out of stock until approximately mid-february. It's manufactured in S. Korea and still back-ordered from the importer. Once it's again in-stock I will create a separate listing for it.

Mylar Heat Tape must be wired to an electrical cord using Metal Clips & Insulators, in order to work.

I offer Metal Clips & Insulators in a SEPARATE AD, please 'click' on my other items to find this listing. **PLEASE NOTE: Paid-for Clip sets SHIP FREE if shipped WITH a paid heat tape order.** That's a huge cost savings for buyers who need both heat tape and clip sets!
HOWEVER, to take advantage of free shipping with heat tape, you must order and pay for the clips/insulators separately, but in ONE invoice. Use Ebay's CART feature! Place order for clips/insulators FIRST, using THE CART. Next order the heat tape, again using THE CART. Once items are IN THE CART, proceed to CHECK OUT...Wa-lah! Single invoice paid!

HEAT TAPE: Sold by the foot, in 1-foot increments, WITH 2 (two) foot MINIMUM (wait! Keep reading!). No fractional footage; if you need for example 2.5 feet, you'll need to order 3 feet. It's easy to trim to size once you receive your order. PRICE: $3.95/foot...2 (two) foot MINIMUM!! UNLESS the WIRING SERVICE is also ordered (see below), orders for a single foot = 1 Panel, WILL BE CANCELLED! I LOSE MONEY on orders for a single foot!

U.S.A. sales ONLY, please. TOO expensive to ship internationally! Just recently, I learned it would cost about $55 to ship 18' of heat tape to Mexico. That's about $3.00/foot for JUST the shipping (almost $7/foot all-inclusive)! It costs even more to ship to Europe or Asia! ### HOWEVER: If you don't mind paying the very high price/foot, I will consider international shipping on a CASE-by-CASE basis; SEND ME A MESSAGE FOR A QUOTE!

SHIPPING is extra, as follows:

Postage is $6.50 for first 2 feet, plus $2.00/ft for 3 feet; 4 to 7 feet adds just $0.25/ft; 8 feet plus adds just $0.10/ft. It sounds complicated but I'm NOT looking to make money on shipping. Between 2-20 feet ships in a mailing tube which costs $1.25 (bought in bulk in 36 tube cases from Quill); Orders for 2-3 feet can ship First Class; orders 4' plus ship Priority which starts at $7.20, but goes up depending on Zip Code zone. Orders 3 feet and under ship First Class Postage (2-5 work days ship time); orders 4 feet or more ship Priority Postage (usually 2-3 work days ship time). Ebay takes its 10% cut off shipping, too. So my shipping cost structure is VERY fair. There's no cheaper way to ship it. Flat rate envelope is too small, and flat rate medium boxes too expensive ($13.65) EXCEPT for orders over about 40 feet.###PLEASE READ: Ebay doesn't do very well in calculating shipping so I will need to REFUND any Overage after order is processed. MOST ORDERS REQUIRE Shipping REFUNDS! YOU WILL GET THE REFUND FAST! I SHIP FAST & I REFUND FAST! Customers are more than welcome to have me quote the exact cost of any order by sending a message, prior to making that order. This, however, will not negate the need for me to issue refunds. There's no other way to do it. What, bill buyers for shipping shortages?! Please!

IMPORTANT! HOW TO ORDER, it's easy::

Place your order for what you need. Two (2) foot MINIMUM (unless WIRING also ordered)! Place the number of feet needed in the box. Don't worry about Ebay over-charging on shipping. I will issue A REFUND of all shipping overcharges, usually the same day order is placed. Or the next day when we process your order. If you order clip sets & insulators (see separate listing), they'll SHIP FREE with the heat tape. But you need to order and PAY FOR clips to get the free shipping! NO "free" clips! Remember, use Ebay's CART if you order clips AND heat tape.

WIRING SERVICE:

We can do the connection and wire a 6' cord to your heat tape. No fancy custom wiring jobs (ie, wiring several
separate panels in series). Just simple cord-to-heat-tape connections. COST for this service is $3.00 labor + $5.50
for 6' cord, metal clip set, and insulators = $8.50 total. If you would like this service, ORDER two (2) feet EXTRA heat
tape, the money from the extra 2 feet ($7.90, + extra postage charged) will go towards the $8.50 wiring fee. Again,
extra funds will be refunded. ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT, send me a MESSAGE thru the message system, telling me you ordered 2 extra feet, and want the wiring service! One (1) foot, wired to 6' cord, costs $7.00 to ship to most zip code zones.

I have been selling heat tape for almost 30 YEARS, I (and my retired father) have wired in excess of 15,000 separate connections to date! I have VAST experience USING as well as selling Mylar Heat Panels. I will sell you ONLY what YOU NEED, no more to "pad" the order! But you have to do YOUR PART and COMMUNICATE YOUR NEEDS, type of reptile (Python, Boa, Leopard Gecko, etc.) you want to heat, kind of cage (Aquarium, Sterilite Tub, etc.), if you are building a rack, how many tubs, etc... other pertinent information...

You may contact me AFTER PURCHASE, if you need help working with Mylar Heat Panels: Scott 847-293-7087
Please no texting just to avoid ebay message system, that is the preferred way to communicate. Depending on the situation, I may
agree to talk on phone PRIOR to placing order (ie. complex or special situations), but MESSAGE ME first! Thank you!

Thanks for your attention, and maybe your business!
