After purchase you will need to send the EIS (electronic ignition switch) and a working key to get this ESL emulator programmed. 

Benefits of using an emulator instead of the lock:

No moving parts, so less possibility for it to fail.

You can install on the same spot of the old ESL or you can put it somewhere next to the steering column.
