Molnija (Chelyabinsk Watch Factory)

The Molnija clock and watch factory was opened on November 17, 1947. The company's main customer was then the Soviet Union Department of Defense, providing them with wrist watches, pocket watches and table clocks. Unique clocks were also produced specifically for use in Soviet tanks, fighter aircraft, submarines and, eventually, spacecraft.

Case Size:           approx 50 mm in diameter without crown.
Dial diameter:   43 mm.
Case thickness:  16 mm


Vintage condition with plating wear and scratches.


The dial has minor deterioration due to age.

(has traces of age/usage - see pictures).

The watch recently serviced, runs well and keeps accurate time.

I am not putting a guarantee on the performance of a watch in reguards to timing or longevity.

The watch runs good and keeps good time but is being sold as is.
