Not a single component of the Konrad pen is German made, yet the design is very German both in function and form. Noodler’s brings together components from India, New York, Maryland and Massachusetts to produce this unique product.
The Konrad pen is 5 1/8”long with the cap closed. The blind cap (end of barrel) unscrews to reveal a twist button that operates an internal filling piston. A clear window shows ink supply. The Konrad sports a large stainless steel Flex nib and matching cap accents. Nib, metal clip and cap band all display the Noodler’s identity.
The Flex nib allows a standard line or a very wet artistic flow. The pen employs an ebonite feed, and can be adjusted by advanced pen users to modify ink flow or even swap out other nibs (new or vintage).
The pen is packaged in a Noodler’s cardboard pen box with an instruction/fact sheet.
