The Statue had been repaired by the previous owner; I had purchased the Statue as is looking today, many years back, from England.

This is indeed an original Johann Philipp Ferdinand Preiss figure.
The figures has, as you suggest, seen better days with the right ivory hand being replaced at the
wrong angle, damage to the left hand and damage to the neck. There is also a fair amount of paint
flaking on the body which will affect the value.
