Fabulous Folding Thimble Display Case

 Holds 52 thimbles

This outstanding little box opens out to display 52 of your favorite thimbles on a padded white backdrop. This is a longer version of the case I've had that holds 36 thimbles. Each thimble is held very securely by a covered metal tab and there is no chance of them coming loose inside. It folds up into a neat rectangular box measuring 10 1/4" wide by 3 1/2" deep by 3 1/2" high.

There is loads of room inside and the thimbles don't even come close to touching each other. The box is covered with a soft black vinyl that has an embossed basket weave pattern. It closes securely with a large snap. It's very well made and the sides are thick and solid. I've tried every sort of thimble and it holds them all. The only thing I wouldn't put in it is a very thin or fragile thimble, like ivory or mother of pearl. Needless to say, the thimbles shown are not included.
