An excellent crafty activity, these peel-off sand art pictures feature a friendly Santa Claus delivering pressies and a festive, fully decorated Christmas tree and are supplied with sand or glitter and a handy 'picking' stick to help remove the pieces.

 

The 25cm tall, cut out pictures feature individual pre-cut sections which peel-off to reveal a sticky surface that can be sprinkled with the coloured sand or glitter.   The removable paper is a pale yellow and can either be left in place as a background colour or can be removed and decorated with sand/glitter, depending on the age and skill level of the child.  

There are various different pack sizes and designs available.  

For the options with sand, each picture is supplied with 9 x 5g bags of sand which is sufficient for each individual picture.  

For the options with glitter, only one set of 6 shaker tubes of glitter (approx. 8g each colour) is supplied per pack but the glitter supplied is sufficient to complete up to 4 pictures.  

 

The pictures make an excellent creative craft activity which helps develop concentration and fine motor skills. They are a brilliant party or fundraising activity which children can decorate and take home with them.

The pictures are supplied in a clear vinyl bag with a leaflet giving handy instructions.

 

As with all craft activities, adult supervision is recommended ~ sand may present a choking hazard and the picking sticks have sharp points.  

Care should be taken to protect clothing, soft furnishings and surfaces during craft activities ~ sand can be abrasive and could scratch polished surfaces.
