On offer is a Superb Guaranteed Original and Genuine 1st World War German M.17 Combat Helmet!

The Shell of the helmet is marked, E.T. 64 E294. 

The Leather Three Pad Liner is in Good Condition with its three Horse Hair Filled Cushions.

The Metal Liner Band is also in good condition.

There are five United States Stamps stuck to the Crown of the Helmet! This would indicate the helmet was a war trophy posted back to the U.S by an American GI from the front! There are traces of blood inside the helmet, this could have been from a gun shot wound to the face or upper body! 

The helmet has been in my collection for a very long time and is a reluctant sale! Good examples of these helmets are getting very hard to find!
