The Dew at Dawn may be the best expression of the Akatsuki series. The pattern is so unique, almost like the patterns in an iris of the eye. I have found that, at least for me, it seems that making sure they have plenty of water also makes the blue color more vivid and striking.

 ✓   These seeds were open-air pollinated  in the Jacksonville Morning Glory Vineyard, Jacksonville, Florida 2017.

      Open-air pollination is used by virtually every gardener and can produce crossed varieties.  This can be fortuitous as it provides the gardener with a brand new type of morning glory which can then be refined and sold.  Think twice before removing any odd morning glories you find among your expected cultivar.  It could be one in a million!
