Antique Wood Binney & Smith Box No 307 Atlantic White Chalk Crayons WITH CHALK

This is an old, dovetailed, Binney & Smith white chalk crayon box that was a birthday present to my wife some 75 years ago. There are childish marks on the sides and also a number of scratches and chips.

The box has a sliding top with finger notch for easy opening. It measures 7” long x 4 5/8" wide x 3 3/4” deep. There are still a large number of chalk crayons remaining together with the original sawdust (see photos). I shall pack the inside with peanuts and the like to prevent any breakage, but I am sure there will be some.
