Up for sale is a commemorative medal or so-called dollar from the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition held in San Francisco.
Description: It is made from antiqued silver-plated bronze, and measures approximately 35mm in diameter. It is listed in Hibler-Kappen (HK-420) with an R6 rarity.
It is listed as SH 18-10 ASP (antiqued silver-plated, which distinguishes it from the plain SP variety) in the new So-Called Dollars from the Pacific Coast Expositions by Shevlin & Hyder.
It has been graded at MS62 and encapsulated. According to NGC's Coin Census, 12 have been graded finer, with 10 tied.
Condition: Nicely-preserved antiquing with a few contact marks at the high points of the busts. Please examine the photographs for further details and qualities.
