This auction is for aBRAND NEW
SPEC Stage 5 clutch kit which can hold 1,060 lbft. of torque. SPEC part number SF505-9. These clutch kits are designed for use with stock flywheels or SPEC flywheels SF50S-9 or SF50A-9 which are in our eBay Store.
Stage Five
SPEC's strongest clutch is made specifically for drag racing high powered vehicles or applications that call for a "slipper" clutch/progressive torque-induced engagement. They feature an unsprung, rigid, iron disc that engages instantly and strongly. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, iron disc assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly. This concentric slave is available at your local dealership.

This SPEC clutch will fit the following vehicles:
Ford MUSTANG 2011-2017 5.0L GT and Boss
Fitment is only good AFTER March 2011 Production Dates
These clutch kits have the 9 bolt pressure plate cover pattern for use in cars beginning 3/2011 production or in a any car fitted with a 9 bolt pressure plate pattern flywheel.
SPEC Stage 5 Clutch Kit:
Features a full-metallic disc with the highest possible friction co-efficient. Street drivable but not street-friendly. The hub is solid 12-rivet and the assembly is heat treated for strength and durability. Best for extreme street and drag racing.
Owner must also break in the new high performance clutch for a minimum of 500 miles, primarily city and/or stop-and-go driving, before full throttle engagement, drag launching or power shifting. Failure to properly install and break in your clutch will create chatter and slipping, plus it will void the manufacturer's warranty. Unless otherwise instructed by written notice from SPEC, follow manufacturers instructions when installing clutch and flywheel products. SPEC recommends that all bolts be inspected before re-installation, and any bolts that have been removed and re-torqued multiple times should be replaced.
