Also known as Kent Romney, the breed evolved from medieval longwool types of which the Romney and Leicester breeds are early examples. The Romney’s fleece is ideal for hand-spinning, and is often recommended to beginners. I find it very similar to Corriedale. The micron count ranges between 28-29 Microns

All my fiber comes from a smoke-free, pet-free environment.

I used to store my fibers with lavender sachets, but I don't anymore as I have learned that moths hates disturbances and some people are allergic to lavender. Now I dust and clean more frequently and move things around but I still include a lavender sachet with each order, unless someone requests me not to. If you don't want the lavender because you are allergic or for some other reason, let me know on the comment section, or send me a message.
