This is a Meade LX200 10" f10 GPS scope which works and used to be a part of my observatory...and had been used for astrophotography of both deep-sky (though that's not, straight-out-of-the-box what this scope's meant for) and also for lunar and planetary and solar astrophoto's.

This scope worked back when I inspected it about 2 years ago.  And has been kept in a mostly moisture-free, dust-free, controlled
environment.  This package also comes with tripod and SuperWedge, plus micro focuser (which works) and 2 hand contollers that both
work.  And a plexiglass eyepiece accessory tray for under the tripod...and also all the nuts and bolts, plus it's own owner's manual.

All original.  Make me an offer!  I live in northern Indiana...am willing to ship to all places in US.  Thanks.

I'm including lead shot counter-weight pack in one fork tine battery compartment...and the battery holder (C battery) and a 1/4-20 camera

holder bracket for mounting a camera piggyback.

And the wedge and the plexiglass eyepiece holder lazy susan for underneath the tripod mount.  All included plus the manual.  It comes

with a professional box (softback not hard) with foam pro molded installed cardboard box with handles.  PS: the finderscope was a bit messed-up had a front lens that was loose...and had used it as a finder guider.  But didn't work too well as I had accidentally burnt the

crosshairs with solar exposure without a front full filter.  But tried fixing this...and yes hair will work.  But it may be available only as parts.

And the working micro-focuser too.  It's great because you can select what speed you want to focus right from your AutoStar II hand-
controller.  And make it move in and out your eyepiece or camera up to about 1/2 inch travel.  2" capacity.

PEMPro can be used to reduce the pe (periodic error) of the worm gear, wheel on the RA axis so you can do deep-sky astorphotography from this scope.   Also going with an f6.3 or f3.3 reducer can make this happen too.  10" F10 means it has about 100
inches of focal length making it about 4 inches over 8 feet of focal length.  So yes this makes for serious magnification.  Which isn't

such a terrible good thing.  Because it will magnify wind shake and vibration, and polar missalignment and tracking errors, and too much pe problems too.  But for planetary isn't so bad.  Got the Cassini on Saturn or at least almost and this was before the day of 4k.

Get it in time for Christmas!

I am selling the Meade, but it IS a 10" f10 SCT and not a 12 incher, hope to set that clear in my buyer's minds.

I am deciding again not to Sell this Item...So realize that and nobody bid...I'll refund the highest bidder!

I would-have sold it, to allow for more spending cash for my new Dell 8k 32 inch monitor, but also my mom thinks that selling this isn't

wise.

Thanks.  Sorry.
