Ford Mk II Winner at Daytona 1966


Waterslide decal. Printed on clear paper for use on a white or light colored car. Black square painted on white paper. Paint hood black.


All three cars are Ford Mk II's at the 1966 24 Hours of Daytona. The first one (#98) is the Ken Miles, Lloyd Ruby car that won the race. The #97 Ford Mk II was driven by Dan Gurney and Jerry Grant and came in second. The #96 Mk II was driven by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon and came in 5th. Ken Miles and Lloyd Ruby won Daytona the previous year in a GT40 and will go on to win Se bring one month after this photo was taken. Tragically Ken Miles would die later in 1966 while testing the Ford J-car at Riverside, California.
