For sale my freshly UK registered (on an A plate) Honda VF700S Sabre RC22.

As can be seen on the photo's it's in great condition and don't be put off by the 42k plus mileage ,
the previous owner must have really loved this bike , the oil and filter were fresh when I purchased
from DK and the brakes weren't binding .

It hadn't been used for a while so carbs had to be cleaned , tyres replaced (new Avon Road Riders) , fork seals renewed
a new rear shock , various seals , gaskets , indicator stems & battery etc .

A general service has been carried out replacing fluids , checking brakes , shaft drive & swing arm for wear as well as
making sure all the electrical components work .

When first purchased the bike had a brand new Corbin sculpted seat on it which I found too low (I'm 6'), this will be
included in the sale it will help shorter riders put both feet on the floor ! .

The original tool kit is still under the seat .

The motor fires into life first press and settles to an even tick over in a very short time , there is no smoke and
mechanically the motor is very quiet , the only noise that can be heard is what I think a baffle plate coming
lose in the R/H silencer .

As far as I can tell the only thing missing from the bike is the chrome lower fork yolk cover and the it hasnt
got the correct fuel cap , the original is present but the key is stuck in it and won't come out .

Looking at it I would say the handlebars and grips are the only non std parts .

Although the bike isn't my normal cup of tea & have never rode one before I have to give it some praise ,
the motor pulls from 30 mph in top (OD) cleanly right the way through & with the Avon tyres the handling
is more than acceptable for an A road blast .

I have been told these bikes are prone to weak rear shocks and rotted out swing arms , the shock has
been replaced with a tested vgc used one and whilst being changed the swing arm was removed , checked ,
cleaned and repainted , all looks good .

There is no guarantee with the bike but could be ridden away if required .

Viewing can be arranged if you give me a days notice but no offers will be accepted on the day as i
intend to let the auction run to the end .

A £250 deposit will be required from the winning bidder within 24hrs following the auctin close via paypal
or transfer , with the balance being in cash upon collection or transfer prior to collection .

Bidders with less than 10 transactions please contact me before bidding otherwise I will remove your bid
(had issues last time out)

No time wasters please , bid away and thanks for showing interest my bike 👍.
