Hello and welcome to my auction.
Apparently, I’ve got too many coats and jackets, so here
goes – – –
This is a classic Barbour country/shooting jacket. Size
small, (I would probably call it small – medium as Barbour sizing does tend to
come up large).
It’s from their Barbour Berwick Endurance range.
According to the label this model is the 15584 which apparently makes it a T8.
Excellent condition with no defects that I can see, however
do please closely refer to the photographs.
The cuffs and collar show no signs of wear and in particular
there isn’t any bobbling to be soft, fleece collar.
The material is the indestructible and waterproof Cordura, -
with a slight stretchyness to it.
Soft to the touch and very comfortable to wear.
Chunky Barbour zip with stud fastening, overlapping storm
flap.
It has two chest-height hand warmer pockets and two stud
fastening cargo pockets below.
There are two clips in the hand warmer pockets which can be
attached to an inside stud on the flap of the cargo pocket, – so keeping the
cargo pocket open, – for shotgun cartridges presumably, – see photographs for
clarification.
All the front pockets have a brown, suede looking trim to
them.
There is also a chest height, vertical, zip closing pocket
behind the studded storm flap.
Inside it has the classic Barbour tartan lining, (not
quilted), one large green zipped pocket and one large tartan Velcro closing
pocket.
It also has two, very large stud fastening, mesh, poacher’s
pockets, (again please refer to the photographs).
An excellent coat, – just not getting worn.
I also have the matching, stud fastening, removable hood for
this which I am auctioning separately.
From a caring, pet–free and smoke–free home.
Assuming immediate payment of following end of the auction
then I would post this by standard Ebay’s two day service delivery the following
day, – so ensuring a pre-Christmas delivery.
I’ve got several other country style and hiking coats all
being auctioned simultaneously this week. Consequently, should you be
interested in more than one, then I would offer to deliver the second one for
free.
Thanks for looking and any questions please ask.
Many thanks.
Rod.
