Hi, you are bidding on this vintage rare and very hard to find Ma-Ba Japanese Ponytail Barbie in original wedding outfit. Ma-Ba Barbie is in minty condition with original tagged outfit, just needs remnants of original hair band removed from hair and hair smoothed. Her outfit is beautiful. "After Mattel ended its licensing agreement with Takara, they immediately entered into another agreement in 1986 with Bandai Co. Ltd. (of Japan). They named their company Ma-Ba, which is the first two letters of each companies name (Mattel & Bandai). Ma-Ba Barbie dolls were found only in Japan. They look very similar to the Takara Barbie and Jenny doll but have a few slight differences such as thinner faces, different eyes and they are taller."(clear X stand not included) A wonderful addition to any vintage Barbie collection!
