Lawsonia
inermis, also known as hina, the henna tree, the mignonette tree, and the
Egyptian privet, is a flowering plant and the sole species of the genus
Lawsonia. It is the source of the dye henna used to dye skin, hair and
fingernails, as well as fabrics including silk, wool and leather.
How to Grow
Place
the seeds on a moist paper towel, fold that up and put it in an airtight
container or bag (keep in a warm place). Within 2 to 5 weeks seeds will start
to sprout.
Sow
the sprouted seeds in a pot (well drain moisten soil) and keep it in direct
sunlight. Allow the soil get dried out in between each watering cycle will
allow the plants to grow well.
Also you can germinate seeds using direct nursery
mixture includes garden soil, compost & coco peat in to 1:1:1 ratio.
Watering & care maintenance needed. But most effective way is Paper towel
method.
