The Custom Pro Koi Kastle Cave provides fish a refuge from pond predators such as herons, cats and raccoons. Fish swim into the cave to hide from the animals. Open on each end, the structure allows fish easy access from two directions.


This cave also provides fish a cool, shaded area to beat the heat on hot, sunny days. The cave is made to sit on the pond bottom, where the temperature is naturally cooler in summer. By blocking sunlight, the cave's exterior also helps keep the interior space cooler.

The cave is available in mesh with an aluminum frame or in molded black plastic that looks like rock. Each cave style is available in a small size and large size. The molded plastic models must be secured with rocks or other weights (not included) to remain under the water.
