Many of these units can and are often used in conjunction with non-Rega turntable models.

The Exact moving magnet cartridge makes use of a pair of parallel wound coils that have been carefully and critically put together on the custom jig; this allows for the creation of a fully working stereo generator. The Exact is then tested and looked over for two days before being packaged separately or fitted to a Rega turntable, guaranteeing that each meets the high standards of quality set out by Rega.
