The Emerald EE24D underfloor deposit safe is designed to protect your cash and valuables from theft and allows cash to be deposited at any time without the need to open the safe door. This means that excess cash in any retail business can allow overflow cash to be moved from cash tills and securely deposited by any member of staff without the key holder being present.

This Emerald EE24D under floor safe door is constructed from 60mm thick stainless steel with a 2mm copper disc to prevent thermal and mechanical attack, and is supplied with a VDS Class 2 key lock as standard, with 2 keys supplied. For additional security a concrete reinforcing mesh is also supplied.

How to install the Churchill Emerald EE24D £35,000 Rated Floor Drop Safe

• Select a position that would restrict a physical attack
• Remove safe door and keep clean
• Protect safe from any sand and cement entering via neck
• Remove floor covering to expose concrete floor
• Ensure no drains, cables, pipes are located beneath this area
• Mark out area at least 150mm wider than footprint of safe
• Dig away until depth is at least 75mm deeper than height of safe
• When fitted the top of the safe neck should not protrude above ground
• Replace any damp proof  membrane that has been disturbed
• Use high grade concrete e.g. 1 part Portland Cement to 5 parts ballast
• Add a water resisting additive before filling base of hole with 100mm of concrete mix
• Lower safe into the excavated hole until safe is level with ground surface
• Fit the steel welded mesh around the safe collar to resist attack
• Check safe is level while filling 100mm layers of mix
• Do not disturb or use safe within 7 days of installation
