Let us introduce ourselves: MooseDog is a small family run company, founded just a couple of years ago. Daniel does the purchasing, sales, assembly and online admin Moose the German Shepherd, is who we have to thank for the whole idea, and takes more of a supervisory role overseeing the whole process!

Our idea was thought up through necessity – Moose loves to get muddy out on walks, yet she hates cold outside showers under the garden tap. We were getting tired of having to clean mud up from indoor warm baths so sought a solution. After some tinkering, two years ago, we created the first version of the product you are viewing, and at last we could bath Moose outdoors! We had friends and family asking for us to make them one, and went on to discover that there was a demand for these amongst other dog owners, car washers and pool fillers alike! We refined the design, sourced and quality tested bulk parts, and began manufacturing our first batch. So there you have it – our product and original concept as you see it today, designed, manufactured and sent out by MooseDog.

Finally, a solution to the requirement for variable temperature water outside! Think of it as your indoor mixer tap, outdoors, allowing you to control the flow rate and temperature of water to your hose, achieving a safe and desired temperature water outdoors for lots of applications, commercial and domestic, including (but not limited to):

· washing pets* (no more muddy paws inside!)

· muddy boots (no more muddy boots inside either!)

· paddling pools (playtime just got far easier to prepare for!)

· washing vehicles (get that stubborn dirt off with hot water from your hose!)

· washing windows (no more cold hands or poor cleaning!)

· washing patio and furniture (scrub off that winter muck!)

*Statistics show a rise in the number of cases of sometimes fatal canine diseases in the UK, including Alabama Rot. This product makes it easier for users to wash their dog(s), and in doing so goes towards helping prevent the contraction and spread of such diseases. With the ease of use, a dog wash is achievable after every walk!

This product is remarkably easy to set up and use, just connect the device to your outdoor hot and cold taps, then connect your existing hosepipe to the output at the bottom (standard UK hosepipe connection). You’re all set; simply use the taps to vary the pressure and temperature of water that comes from your hose!

Includes (top down in the photographs):

· Two ½” tap adaptors to screw on your taps. With rubber o-rings and leak seals, to provide a leak free fit! Use of these adaptors is optional, as the product will work with standard UK fitting quick release, but these are from the same manufacturer as the connectors therefore fit between the two is optimum.

· Two standard connectors to clip into the tap end

· Two 13” / 330mm lengths of a leading brand hosepipe to ensure quality and longevity. Rated to high and low temperatures (see manufacturers) this hose offers longevity at whatever temperature water you use through it.

· Two “stop” connectors to connect at the Y connector end (can be disconnected when tap is on and water will not flow)

· Y connector, with standard UK quick release output to your hosepipe

· A further 1 metre / 3ft length of high quality leading brand branded hose pipe to allow for easy use for everyday tasks.

· Two further connectors, one of which a “stop” connector allowing you to disconnect or change the spray attachment whilst the water is on, without it flowing.

· High quality spray attachment, with several spray options, ergonomic grip, and standard UK hose connector fitting.

The product will be supplied fully assembled and ready to go, posted using a 48hr courier. Parts have all been tested before shipping to ensure function and lack of leaks. Upon receipt, simply connect to your outdoor hot and cold taps (whether fitting the supplied tap connectors or using your own), connect your hose and you’re ready to go! About our parts

Connectors

We buy connectors in bulk, and pass that saving on to you! The connectors we use are a UK standard fitting, so chances are your tap will already fit, but due to different manufacturing processes between all of the different manufacturers out there, we supply everything together to guarantee a no leak solution. To complement this, we quality check and test each and every product before shipping. Colour may vary depending on stock availability.

Hose

We use a leading brand hose pipe, which is a premium domestic hose pipe for hot and cold use. This manufacturer is the UK’s leading supplier of irrigation supplies, and we use their thick walled premium domestic hose pipe for our products, ensuring longevity and durability outside and whilst in use.

Spray

Our spray head is again manufactured with quality and ease for the user in mind. We choose plastic over metal to keep the product light in the user’s hand, and to prevent rusting that will occur on any steel or chrome plated versions. The handle and grip are smooth and ergonomic, and features a lock-out pin so the user can leave the spray running hands free if required. The head rotates to select the different spray patterns, with 7 to choose from (jet, shower, mist, fine mist, vertical, flat, and full).The connector is a standard UK fitting, as are our connectors.

Assembly

All of our products are fully assembled in-house. We quality check each component before packaging for sale. Each assembly is tested for leaks and packaged suitably for postage. However, should there be a problem upon receipt, please just get in touch and we will resolve the problem as soon as possible, whether a replacement part of full product is required.
