Age / Size: Estimated to be mid 1960s / 33.5mm diameter not including the crown

Case Condition:  This case rates a solid VERY GOOD for cosmetic condition and presents nicely.  Especially for a 50+ year old chrome plated bezel case finish!!

Case Metal: Chrome Plated bezel, stainless steel case back.  IMPORTANT: The bracelet is stainless steel and an interesting mesh design but is broken away from the band ends badly at one end of the bracelet- it is hard to see in the photos.  The bracelet still works for now but probably would break if something hit your wrist while wearing the watch.

Dial Condition: This GORGEOUS original linen pattern dial rates NEAR MINT or better condition- take a L@@K at the photos!!  The issue (the only issue that I can find!) with this watch is that the crystal has large cracks in it and needs to be replaced.

Movement Type: Helbros 17 Jewels manual winding with Date indicator at 3:00.  This appears to be a base caliber P-76 and the maker mark is a cross inside of the usual ebauche maker mark trident.  I believe that this is a German origins movement.

Working / Non-Working:  This watch does wind / set the time smoothly and has run and kept time about ONE minute SLOW over my 16+ hour timekeeping test of the watch sitting here running on my desk.  The date indicator complication does function properly as it should.

Extras: This auction is for the pictured mid 1960s era Helbros gents wind up model that features a MINTY original LINEN pattern dial that really makes this watch a pleasure to look at!!  The watch does wind/set the time smoothly and has run and kept time about ONE minute SLOW over my 16 hour timekeeping test of it sitting here running on my desk.  The date indicator functions properly as it should.  Really the only thing that I can see wrong with the watch is that the crystal has some big cracks in it and needs to be replaced.  The watch comes on a SUPER HANDSOME period correct stretch stainless steel mesh 17mm wide curved ends- this is an Evinger brand bracelet and I believe it to be all stainless steel.  This one is WELL worth getting a new crystal put on it so that it can be safely worn without risking any dial damage!!  I have priced this watch to $ELL with a ROCK BOTTOM low opening bid and there is NO RESERVE!!
