This is a digital photograph I took at the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in Cambridge, Maryland. It was established in 1933 as a waterfowl sanctuary for birds migrating along the Atlantic Flyway and is home to plant and animal diversity in its three major habitats – forest, marsh and shallow water. The refuge contains one-third of Maryland's tidal wetlands, which makes it an ecologically important area within the state. The image is printed on 8.5 x 11 in (22 x 28 cm) glossy photographic paper with a brief description centered below the image. This is a nice, sharp picture of a great scene at the wildlife refuge!

NOTE: As described, a caption is included with the print. However, if you do not wish a caption, please indicate your preference in your order. Without the caption, the print will cover more of the photo paper and is larger.
