This is hand assembled by me and uses several methods that I invented - including drilled test probe with hot glue injected strain relief, Ground Strap connection to shield of cable and Label sealed under Clear Heat shrink tubing

The unit is presented in a Labeled, Retail Quality, Reusable, 4 Mil Poly Ziplock Bag and is wrapped with a Reusable Velcro Strip to keep the leads organized and ready.

The probes are built from the same high quality components I supply in my many kits which is composed of the following items (many of which are hard to source economically):

1 Genuine Philmore Test Probe - 1 Red or 1 Black

1 1/4" mono mic connector with heat shrink Sleeve

1 1N34A Diode

1 Alligator Clip & Heat Shrink Tubing

1 Laminated Self Adhesive Probe Label and Clear Heat Shrink Tubing to cover the probe labels, resulting in a professional and durable setup (see photos)

1 36" lengths of RG174 Coaxial Wire

1 12" Length of 18 Gauge Rubber Test Lead Wire (Very Flexible - High Quality) for the Ground Lead - which is attached to the shield of the RG174 with a short piece of 1/8" Braid and heat shrink tubing

The original instructions specify shielded cable for the leads, the original supplied wire was a coaxial microphone style wire, many people use either standard (unshielded) test probe wire for the leads or a shielded coaxial cable, I use shielded black RG174 for the  leads and Black test probe wire for the ground.
