For this listing we offer a pair of precision made 2 7/8 Inch Aircraft Aluminum Alloy 1/8" Axles with 5:40 threads on each end. New Old Stock.  Measurements OD 1/8" X Long 2 7/8" with 5:40 threads on each end. 

Replace your standard 5-40 front axle with this special axle these new precision axles are for easier mounting on the new threaded 5:40 spur and crown gears. 

Manufactured in the 1960's by Airweight from ESP Products; Burbank, CA.  These fit 1/24th, 1/25th and 1/32nd scales.
