For the first time in CD and entirely remastered. Complete notebook with photos and lyrics, the inescapable album of the undisputed star of the Rocky Horror Picture Show Fearless is the second album by the English actor/singer Tim Curry. Released in 1979, it was his most commercially successful album, reaching #53 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart. Unlike his first album which consisted of cover versions, Fearless was composed almost entirely of original songs, mostly written by Curry with producers Michael Kamen and former Lou Reed collaborator Dick Wagner. A single, "I Do the Rock", became Curry's most successful in the US, reaching the Billboard Hot 100. "Paradise Garage" was also released as a 7" and 12" single in certain countries. However, for the ultimate rockers, it is other titles which will remain engraved for ever in their hearts: S.O.S, No Love On the Street and the resumption of Joni Mitchell, Cold Blue Steel and Sweet Fire, highlights the work of Dick Wagner (Alice Cooper, Lou Reed), of David Sanborn (saxophone) and of Bob Kulick in the lead guitar. We find the magnificent voice of Dr Frank-N-Furter which had seduced us in Rocky Horror Picture Show in rhythms sometimes furious (I Do The Rock, Charge It …), sometimes languishing (Something Short of Paradise). The album is produced in a masterly fashion by the excellent Michael Kamen (Metallica, Pink Floyd, Queensryche, David Bowie, Queen). What to say about the rhythmic session which accompanies Tim Curry on this album: Bob Babbit (R.I.P) who we will find his wonderful play with Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Phil Collins and the drummer Charles Collins (Teddy Pendergrass, Lou Rawls, Billy Paul, Elton John). The title Sloe Gin represented on the previous album Read My Lips was produced by Bob Ezrin (Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Kansas, Lou Reed, Kiss) and played by Dick Wagner. This original composition prefigured the album Fearless recorded the following year. Track Listing: Right On The Money; Hide This Face; I Do The Rock; S.O.S; Cold Blue And Sweet Fire; Paradise Garage; No Love On The Street; Something Short Of Paradise; Charge It - Bonus Tracks: Paradise Garage (Single Edit); Charge It (Single Edit0; I Do The Rock (High Fidelity Mix); Sloe Gin
