Offered is a precision laser cut kit to make 2 (two) HO Scale 2” x 12” board lumber stacks measuring 12ft long and 4ft in height. These are made from 0.022” thick hardwood, making them as true-to-scale as reasonably possible. The thickness of 0.022” HO Scale equals 1.91” in the “real world”. The kit contains 56 pieces: 28 lumber layers and 28 sticker layers. Only 24 pieces is required per stack to obtain the height of 48 HO Scale inches. The kit contains extra lumber layers.

These are uniquely designed to add the appearance of random length boards with an air space between each layer. This method of stacking is used to dry lumber and is commonly referred to as “stickered”. The unique design of the sticker layer makes assembly must easier, since the layer is a single piece instead of multiple smaller pieces. The top lumber layer has the realistic appearance of individual boards.

The laser cut kit comes in multiple wood sheets. To assemble, remove the individual pieces from the sheet stock with a sharp blade. Glue layers of lumber together, using your favorite CA or wood glue. Remember to flip and rotate the lumber layers to achieve a different appearance on the end of each stack. Not only do these lumber stacks look great, but you will find building them simple and rewarding.

They can be used at lumber yards, sawmills, construction sites, rail loads or to fulfill your very own unique idea.
