This is a backing tracks-only CD of Will Ray's infamous blues album "MOJO BLUES". The whole project started out as just backing tracks that Will put together so that he could practice new licks to a CD instead of calling rehearsals with his band all the time. He had so much fun with playing to the tracks that he eventually wrote words to the songs and re-recorded the tracks in his studio with a full band.

These songs rock!! The 11 tracks use real musicians on real instruments - Drums, Bass, Piano, Organ, Rhythm Guitar and Harmonica. The vocals and Lead Guitar are taken out so that there is plenty of room for you to wail away on guitar without being interrupted by silly things like a vocalist. And the songs are long enough to keep your creative juices flowing when you're on a roll (4-6 minutes each).

Will actually uses these same tracks to perform clincs with when not touring with the HELLECASTERS. There are even count-offs for the songs! The 11 song CD contains slow blues, fast rockin blues, shuffles, swings, in major and minor keys - everything you need to sustain you thru hours and hours of practice without it seeming like work. These songs are definitely FUN to play to!!
