This brand new fabric is 100% cotton that features a Japanese pattern of cranes, sparrows, butterflies, and many types of flowers including chrysanthemums, phones, cherry and plum blossoms. It's set on a red background that features a geometric pattern, and the pattern is embossed with metallic gold. The photo shows a ruler with centimetres on top and inches on the bottom.
In many asian countries, cranes are considered to be a symbol of eternal youth and happiness so it's not surprising that they are often found in oriental paintings and fabrics. Like cranes, chrysanthemums are symbol for longevity, and the Peony, also known as the queen of flowers, symbolises fame and wealth. Cherry blossoms, which bloom for only a few short weeks in Japan and China, are eternally beautiful. This fabric has all of these beautiful symbols, and each part of the pattern is outlined in metallic gold.

This fabric is A grade original production. Some sellers have cheaper items but they're reproductions and the quality may be lower.
