We are now offering for sale this ornate gold gilt US Capitol Metal trinket Box or jewelry casket by Jennings Brothers.  It is signed and numbered 1745.   The both the gold enamel  and metal work are well done and in good vintage condition.  The top of the box is a  3 D model of the US capitol building.The bottom surround is embossed with surround of  panels of Congressional buildings and a fountain on Capitol hill.  The bottom of the box is embossed with 5 point stars in a linear diamond design.  It is has its original pink lining. The lining is in good vintage condition. It has come unglued from the outside of the box.  It measures approx. 4 1/2' long x 3 1/2" wide by 3 " tall.    This box has been well cared for over the years. It has been gently cleaned. It is ready to add to your decor, collection or gift  wrap.  See photos for full description.
