This is the version 2 of the lens hood for Distagon C 40mm f4,0. This version have a cover in the front. I wanted the most elegant solution for the locking system so I decided to use 8 small neodymium magnets. It makes it strong but easy to use. This design is different from the simple one I sell.
This lens hood is 3d printed, there are some marks do to the 3d printing process. The material use is POLYLACTIDE, 3 time stronger then ABS but biodegradable, under some conditions. With normal use is really durable. Normally I paint this lens hood for a better protection and look. I'm always trying to improve my items, may be some little differences from what you see on the pictures.
