** Tay Garnett (1894-1977) was an American film director and writer. Best known 
as the director of the 1946 thriller The Postman Always Rings Twice starring John 
Garfield and Lana Turner. 

 

Alberto Lattuada was an Italian screenwriter and film director. Films include:
Flesh Will Surrender (1947), Guendalina (1957), The Tempest (1958), La Steppa (1962), 
Bambina (1974).
