These are the original AppleTalk DIN-3 Network Cable Male Connectors (Two connectors to create one cable using your wire).
The Connectors conform to the early DIN-3 Connector Physical Specifications. Apple used only pins 1 and 3 for AppleTalk. Pin 2 is available to be connected to a wire if you use these connectors for non-AppleTalk purposes.
Wires may be crimped to pins 1 and 3 and the optional shield, although soldering is preferable.
Each of the two Connectors has three parts: a Metal Body with a wiring cavity, a Metal Shield to cover the wiring cavity, and a Plastic Insulator including a cable stress relief
In addition, Step-by-Step Instructions are provided, including recommended cables to use
