Programming Instructions:

METHOD # 1:

Ignition key on/off/on/off/on

 

Then within 5 seconds, press the valet override button until you here the siren make a response.

 

Once you here it chirp, press the lock button on the remote.

 

If you get another chirp, it worked.

 

If not, you might have to contact the manufacturer to get the programing procedure.

 

METHOD # 2:

 

It is important to remember that during programming each individual step of the procedure must be executed within 15 seconds of the previous step. When the 15 seconds time limit is allowed to expire, the system will automatically exit programming mode. This is indicated by a long chirp from the siren.

 

 Additionally, any time the ignition key is turn off while programming, the system will immediately exit the programming mode. Or after you learn all the channels, turn valet switch “on/off” the system will exit programming mode, this is also indicated by a long chirp from the siren.

 

1. Enter the programming mode: First the system should be in disarm condition, set dipswitch no 8 to on position then turn the ignition switch to on/off three times. You will hear one chirp, one flash sequence from the LED, indicating the system is ready to accept programming channel 1 or arm/disarm and panic function.

 

2. Programing the Transmitter Codes: a) Channel 1 programming (for arm/disarm) Press one of the buttons as you like as button 1 until the alarm gives you a confirmation chirp. You can program up to 4 transmitters in channel 1.

 

 

b) Channel 2 programming (for trunk release) after programming channel 1 turn the valet switch on/off there will be one chirp and two flash sequences from the LED. Indicating the system is ready to accept programming channel 2. Press btn II to program channel 2. Programing procedure is the same as programming channel 1.

 

c) Channel 3 programming (for channel 3) after programming channel 2. Turn the valet switch on/off there will be one chirp and three flash sequences from the LED. Indicating the system is ready to accept programming channel 3. Press btn  III to program channel 3. Programming procedure is the same as programming channel 1.

 

d) Channel 4 programming (for car locator) after programming channel 3. Turn the valet switch on/off there will be one chirp and four flash sequence for the LED indicating the system is ready to accept programming channel 4. Press btn IV  to program channel 4. Programming procedure is the same as programming channel 1.

 

 

 

How to find out if this remote is compatible with your Vehicles’ installed RKE System

If you're not sure your vehicle can use this remote, please ask questions or contact your local dealer first.

1.   Check the back of your current or old keyless remote to match FCC ID /Part #’s.

2.   Contact your local dealer and tell them your VIN# and ask what part # / FCC ID you need.

 

Your vehicle will be installed with one of the following keyless entry systems:  

  a. Standard Keyless Remote Packages: Installed at time of manufacture. 

  b. Optional Keyless Remote Packages: Installed by a dealer. 

  c. Aftermarket Keyless Remote Packages: Installed by previous owner or a car/audio shop. 

  d. No remote keyless entry system at all.

Yes. It will have a working battery installed.

Battery Condition:

        A. All remotes sold on Keyless4u include working batteries.

        B. Installed batteries are not tested for battery life- they are simply working.

             Some are new and some are used.
