The weaving of the leather is very detailed and extraordinary.   The woven band is also very detailed and intricate.  The top of the cushion is silk.  This is an amazing piece of craftsmanship.  The is estimated to be around 1920 - 1930.  These are up close photos to show off the amazing detail, and looks bigger than the item, so check measurements carefully.  This was used as a pin cushion at one time, so it has pin holes in the silk.
