Air Valve/Diaphragm Assembly

A circular bead and locating tab is moulded into the inner and outer rims of the diaphragm to ensure correct positioning. The Diaphragm is secured to the air valve by a ring and screws/washers and it is essential to ensure the bead is correctly located when the screws tightened.  Location for the outer bead and tab of the diaphragm is by a channel in the main body. It is important that these are accurately positioned. Refitting the suction chamber cover should be done carefully by placing it accurately so the screw holes line up with those in the main body, this prevents any disturbance of the diaphragm.
