7 x SHORT Acorn Nuts for use with the Distributor Cap

1 x LONGER Acorn Nut for use with existing HA12 Screw In Coils.

8 x Split Copper/Brass Washers for use with the above.

6 x Plug leads. Leads are Double insulated and have a Copper Core. Each lead comes with a screw on Plug Cap at one end and a blank end at the other, the blank end to be fitted with "Acorn" Nuts & Washers supplied.

1 x Coil Lead. The lead is Double insulated with a Copper Core. It comes with Push In Terminal for Modern HA12 Coils at one end and a blank end at the other, the blank end to be fitted with one of the SMALLER "Acorn" Nuts & Washer supplied.  If the original HA12 (Screw In Lead) is still being used, the Push In terminal (fitted on the new lead) can be removed and replaced with the LONGER "Acorn" Nut & Washer supplied. The original "Acorn" Nut and split washer may also be used instead, if necessary.

fitting the Acorn Nuts & Washers

Push the blank end of the lead through the acorn nut, making sure the threaded section of the Acorn Nut is nearest the Distributor Cap. Remove approximately 1/8" (3mm) of the Insulation from the lead to reveal the copper/alloy wire (removing more than 1/8" (3mm) of the Insulation will make it difficult to fit the Acorn Nut to the Cap). Fit the Copper/Brass washer over the wire and spread the strands in a star formation (trim off any strands which are over the edge of the washer). Fit to cap or coil.
