Heavy Duty 4.8 mm thick rally style Skid Plates to protect the vulnerable expensive oil pan, transmission, and the front undercarriage. Comes with side protection plates. Made in the USA.
This Rally Style Skid Plate has been tested using a 2000 VW Beetle 1.8 Turbo in Guanajuato central Mexico on the same stages of the WRC Mexico in 2014 and most recently tested in the Mayan Jungle trails in Belize in 2020 by an experienced international multi-motor sports race car driver. This skid plate has also been used by VW Beetle racers on rally cars in Rally America and at the GAMBLER 500 RACE in 2018 and 2019.
