Pink Aluminium Oxide wheels
The Swarts Tools range of AO wheels are manufactured to a high specification to ensure conformity, accuracy and balance. These wheels are supplied as an OEM part on our own chainsaw sharpeners. They are also suitable for any chainsaw sharpener with the same dimensions. We offer three different thicknesses which cover all residential and small industrial chains on the market.
Diamond wheels
Our diamond wheels are the latest evolution in chainsaw sharpening equipment. These wheels are made to suit all brands of chainsaw sharpeners on the market, provided they use a 145mm wheel with a 22.3mm centre hole (bore).
They are suitable for sharpening both steel and tungsten-carbide tipped (TCT) chains. There is no comparison when it comes to the benefits that these wheels offer when compared to the pink AO wheels- they are superior in every way. You do not need to dress the diamond wheels- they keep their shape perfectly throughout their service life. This also means you do not need to adjust the depth of your machine as they do not get smaller with use. Due to their high-quality diamond coating, these wheels will last hundreds of chains. Our diamond wheels will not break down or produce a dust when in use. They use a steel base which draws heat away from the chain and is dissipated through the interior of the wheel itself so you won't burn or temper your chain teeth. During production, the diamond wheels are machined to an incredibly fine tolerance so that there is no wobble or vibration caused by the discs during sharpening which results in a sharper, long-lasting tooth.
