We have all heard the nightmare stories of the waste (drain outlet hole) in your new home or renovation ending up in the wrong position. This causes the waste outlet for a generic linear grate being unsuitable as they are only in set positions. Alternatively either a custom grate would have to be made (this option can be quite expensive), move the waste in the pre exsisting cement slab or have a gineric set waste position grate sent off to be modified. This often costs an 'arm and a leg' and can cause holdups on the job!
Believeit or not this is actually quite common. With the Lauxes Linear grate system this is no longer a problem (more of a problem solver) as the waste in the Lauxes system can be positioned anywhere under the bottom tray!
Another Problem solver of Lauxes Linear Grates is all grate systems in the range can be cut/trimmed to size.
Wet areas often don't end up being the planned size (even if it is only a few centermeters) due to tiles etc.
Many people when designing a bathroom or outdoor living area etc want to have a true wall to wall linear grate but are stuck with set sizes (or expensive custom option). With the lauxes system this is no longer an issue as all styles can be cut to the exact required length. The endcaps are easily slid in place and sealed with silicone.
The Lauxes grate system is becoming no 1 choice for commercial application, tradesman and consumers.

Almost all of the Lauxes range comes in Silk Silver or Midnight Black. Both colors provide a great look for your wet area.
Lauxes Linear Grates are triple anodised. Anodised aluminium is an electrochemical process where the surface of the aluminium and its alloys are coated to a porous aluminium oxide, creating an elegant smooth finish.
Anodising is used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of the metal parts.
Anodising increases common erosion resistance and wear resistance, making it quite hard.
The oxide on aluminium is naturally corrosion resistant, making it a very hard, abrasive resistant and an insulator.
Multiple waste size options is definantly helpfull when trying to work with exsisting in-floor/ground waste sizes.
The 71mm wide lauxes grates can have either a 40mm or 50mm waste outlets.
Where as the 100mm wide grates are compatable with 40mm, 50mm, 72mm or 80mm waste options.
Yet another benefit is multiple wastes can be installed if the water is of a greater volume. If a longer length is to be used around an outdoor living area or a pool etc. more than one outlet might be required.

The transport company provides only one driver on the truck. If you item is over 25kgs please make sure you have someone available that's capable of helping the driver unload the item from the truck. Couriers only deliver to ground level.

This product is not for use where incorrect operation or a failure of any kind, including but not limited to a condition requiring product replacement, service by a technician or replacement of parts could cause a financial loss, loss of employee time or an inconvenience requiring compensation.

Shaping Spaces will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty cover does not include damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, neglect, natural disaster, or other external causes; to damage caused by operating the equipment in a manner outside that described in the instructions. The warranty is considered void if the item has been modified, altered or tampered with by a person (or persons) not authorised by Shaping Spaces to provide service (not including standard periodic maintenance).
Consumable components (and accessories) such as chains, carry bags, batteries, hoses, grinding discs, belts, cables, wheels, blades, tubs, pads, nets, paint/coloured coatings etc. are not covered once used or for damage caused by general wear and tear.
Until the nature of any fault is determined, the resolution Shaping Spaces can offer may vary. To assist with a quick resolution, photos will generally be required to be emailed. Once the fault/issue is clarified, we may offer replacement parts to the customer. Where necessary, the item may need to be returned to repair the fault/issue. Free return postage is available for the first 30 days following purchase, beyond this, the buyer is responsible for returning the goods for repair (see RETURNS for more info). Once the fault/issue is clarified, Shaping Spaces may fit replacement parts or offer replacement parts to the customer. Other alternatives may be offered to the satisfaction of both parties. In cases where the unit is to be returned to the buyer following repair or replacement, it will be shipped at no cost to the customer. The replacement/repaired product will be subject to the remainder of the original Warranty Period.
